The Angel Troupe

Throughout history the legend of the Angels have remained the most consistent in the believers of the Holy Sorceress. They are symbols of judgement and protection for those with faith and because of this, they are the common subject of bedtime stories.

A team of protectors, the Angel Troupe were created in Heaven to protect the Holy Sorceress. Legend states that not only were they Her sword and shield, but also assigned to carry out Her bidding to benefit all of man and Life itself. Adorned with brilliant wings and glorious white armour, depictions of the Angels are imposing. They are considered icons by those who dedicate their lives to war.

They have single handily turned the tide of wars, appeared before the most devout believers, fought the terrible deeds that man had willingly or unwillingly brought into the world, and created balance for the firm and just rule of kingdoms.

Rumours are plentiful of their tasks and accomplishments. There is not a single region that had not historically felt their holy presence.

The tales differ from region to region but it is agreed that there are five in the Troupe, their presence impressive and awe-inspiring, their abilities stunning.

As is normal with such things, truth and myth have become combined yet with Dark’s arrival on the mortal plane, the validity of these legends will soon be called into question.
